This website, houmadoggrooming.com, is operated by Houma Dog Grooming, an independent advertising and referral service that connects dog owners with independent dog groomers in and around Houma, Louisiana.
Information we collect
Phone calls. When you call (985) 333-0123, your call is handled through a call-tracking and routing service. Call details such as your phone number, the date, time and duration of the call may be logged, and calls may be recorded for quality and routing purposes where permitted by law. Information you share about your dog and location is used to connect you with a groomer.
Callback request form. If you use the callback request form on our contact page or home page, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number and email address, and optionally your dog's name, breed and size, the service you want, your community or neighborhood, and any message. We also record that you agreed to the referral-sharing statement, the page you submitted from and the time the form was loaded and submitted. Form submissions are processed and stored by the Shop Kart forms service (forms.shpkrt.com), which we use to receive, route and respond to requests and to filter out spam and automated abuse; that service may also log technical details such as your IP address and browser type for security.
Website visits. Our web server keeps standard access logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit) for security and troubleshooting. This site does not use advertising cookies.
How we use and share information
We use call and form information to respond to your request and connect you with an independent groomer who may be able to help, and we may share the details you provide (such as your name, phone number, email, dog details and general location) with one or more groomers so they can follow up. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or unrelated marketers. We may disclose information if required by law.
Independent groomers
Groomers we connect you with are independent businesses with their own privacy practices. Please review their policies when you book with them.
Data retention and security
We keep call, form and log information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Your choices
Using the form is optional; you can always call instead. To ask about information related to your call or form request, to ask us to correct or delete it, or to request that we stop contacting you, call (985) 333-0123.
